In response to your question Peter.....yes I do have a boyfriend, his name is Jimmie and we've been together about 3 years. Here are a few pictures of him:
Hehe....I almost peed my pants when I saw him in that chicken suit at Halloween!
Oooh, you are beautiful!!!! And you're eyes!!! They take my breath away... Your Jim is very lucky with a beauty like you in his arms ;o)... But I must say... My girl is pretty too, so I'm not jealous... héhé :op. Jim seems like a nice guy... 3 years? That's great! Living together? Married already? Children perhaps? Not curious ;o). I have to go to school now. byebye
;o), You can't handle a joke...? I thought you figured that one out... Don't worry dear Dee, my girlfriend was sitting next to me. Tomorrow,we will be together for 5 years exactly :o). But I'm still wondering what "BOB" means, after Jim? We say bob to someone who doesn't drink alcohol.
But if you don't want me to act like this, just tell me :o). I have no problem with being serious... By the way: IN what part of Canada do they speak French? Is it like an whole area or just a city, which one? Because Melissa believes they speak french in whole east canada...
Sorry Peter, the comment made me a little uncomfortable and since I'm a fairly blunt person I thought it best to let you know.
As for the Frenchies, I'll do my redneck best to explain. You see out west the french spoken is quite minimal and I'm ashamed to admit that there is a large amount of ignorance on some of our parts as to the lives of the Frence population of our country.
Quebec is the main francophone area in Canada. A province in 'central' Canada. And when I say central I really mean east of centre looking at a map, but since the 'central' provinces think that they are the centre of the universe they are generally referred to as such. In the areas surrounding Quebec there are a number of francophone groups. Unfortunately I am unable to pinpoint any of them...I know a that they exist though...
As you head further east the amount of french lessens and though there is still more french spoken out east than here in the west it is far less than in the 'central' region aka Quebec.
I hope that this made some sense....and K and Hez, if I've screwed this up royally can you help out? I know you're both a little more educated on this than I am.
In the north of the prairies there is more french spoken (small french towns in AB and SK), but Quebec is definitely the biggest french area. In Nova Scotia there are some french areas as well (that I know of for sure), and in the other eastern provinces there are some as well.
In most cities you will find French speaking people, if not francophone, then bilingual. Not nearly enough Canadians speak French though! (I'm getting all French on yo' ass now!)
